Armory 2014
Cajsa von Zeipel is a Swedish artist that works with sculpture in a larger-than-life-format with explicit references to fashion as well as to the masters of the Renaissance. A focal point of her work is the teenage girl and her attributes; ponytails, platform shoes and a provocative attitude.
Armory Show 2014
Mark Jenkins is best known for his witty street installation. The gallerist at the Armory told me that he makes casts of his own body for his sculptures, so this is Mark in this piece. Check out his site in the link below. He is very funny fellow.

Very funky and eclectic group of galleries represented here. A lot of off-beat galleries—but very approachable people. Seems like the “People’s” Art Show to me. Chat them up, they want to talk to you. Check it out.

Slightly phallic would be an overstatement. Everything in here is phallic. I witnessed an 8th grade school trip file through the gallery. The boys in the groups thought that it was “Awesome” Check it out.
