It’s getting arty out—Two interesting shows this Thursday. Danziger has some beautiful otherworldly photography by Karen Knorr—it should warm your soul and put you in a tropical mood. Also a sweet show by Lisa Alonzo. She paints with pastry tools and makes everything look frosted, delicious and subverted. You can even stare at a can of PBR while drinking a PBR. Sweet!

Best party of the night is at Freight + Volume featuring work from a husband and wife duo who experience the events they paint. The show is entitled Party-Löwe or Lion Party. Get ready to roar! Mike Weiss Gallery is hosting a “Spring Break Style Party” to knock the stuffings out of winter. Hell Yes! 24th street will be one long blockparty, so you can stay warm & see lots of art. (1-2, 4, 6)
