This is one of the better art fairs in March. It features one artist per booth, which helps you see the range and quality of an artist’s expression. It really helps you see the possibilities of the artists’ work. Love this show!

Great show this year, not a lot of repeated artists or artwork. Seeing new stuff everywhere. The quality is insane and the ideas are genius. I think this is one of the best years at the armory. It doesn’t seem like a lot of stuff is selling, but hard to tell. This is the best of the best.

Cool group show highlighting one of my favorite artists of the moment, the flat, yet 3D wooden artwork of Michael Zelehoski. THe work is so flat, and so impossible and so tactile. Check it out through March 26, 2016. Also check out Liao Yibai, massive bicycle chain in the back center gallery.

Great show of really internety type of photo-shoppy mashable image making by Olaf Breuning. The imagery is slightly tweaked things you’ve seen before, but the way they are put together with minimal artifice is really interesting—nice timeless quality to the work. Also a very interesting spherical format that the images are contained in. They rest against flimsy wooden frames that feels fleeting like something you’d see on the internet. This guy gets it. Check it out through July 31, 2015.

Composed of cartoon characters rendered huge with super drippy and roughly hewn look. This massive paintings feel very urgent and quick, drawing you in with its familiarity, yet unsettling that image with a sinister side. In an anterior room are images rephotographed from her studio wall that gives an insight on how she works. Check it out until March 28, 2015.

Gagosian Gallery Pop-up Shop 104 Delancy Street inside an abandoned Chase Bank
Bronze sculptures from the YES series originally stage at the the Geffen Contemporary in 2013 by 1,500 participants. These pieces are cast bronzes from that series. Playful, direct and fun. Check it out.

The first show at Jonathan’s new space on 23rd street. Artists Anonymous from Berlin and London uses visuals that are a negative/positive take on Alice in Wonderland with video projections and a completely immersive environment resembling a life-sized pop-up book
