Mercer Museum
Doylestown, PA
Crazy Museum founded by Henry Mercer back in the early 1900’s. Afraid of fire he built 3 structures in town out of poured concrete. The main museum is nearly 6,000 tones of concrete. He was a huge Junk collector from the early era. So stone plate stoves and mill stones that we'rent used anymore were his vision of collecting. Must see. Check it out.

Our Friend Fluid Metal
These sculptures created out of playground metal children’s spring rockers are loaded with metaphor and create a visual accumulation that resembles undersea coral. Removed from playgrounds all over the US because of their lead content, they take everyone of a certain age back to their childhood. Really fun and fun to be around sculptures. So glad that Gagosian Gallery now lets you photograph inside their buildings—this show is photo worthy! Check it out.

122 Color Photographs
These are very remarkable color photographs from the 1940’s. The color and composition aesthetic is precise. Truly a photographer with a great eye. Visually he seems like a contemporary of William Eggleston and Stephen Shore. Early color photography is very collectable and is all the rage right now. Check this out.
Summer Show

A mystical and fantastical vision on paper and paintings fill the gallery with otherworldliness. Very young and skateboardy crowd showed up for the opening. The PBR was flowing and Brooklyn was representing. Check it out.
